LOTTOLUMA · METHODS & SOURCES
Clear methods. Traceable sources. Honest limits.
LottoLuma is an independent project publishing number-selection tools and explanations of lottery formats. Its purpose is to help visitors distinguish a valid combination, an observed historical pattern and a mathematical probability. We do not sell tickets, accept wagers, settle prizes or represent a lottery operator.
Questions about a page or a calculation can be sent to support@lottoluma.com or through the contact form. Include the page address and the particular rule or output you believe is wrong. Please do not send ticket barcodes, identity documents or payment information.

What the tools actually do.
Generate selections locally
The studios use the browser’s cryptographic random source with rejection sampling so that reducing an integer into a smaller pool does not introduce simple modulo bias. Unrestricted secure selection and preference-constrained selection are different workflows. Odd/even or history-weighted options deliberately narrow or weight the offered selections; they do not alter an official lottery’s draw probabilities.
Describe supplied history
Draw charts operate on results you paste or open locally. They validate structure, ranges, distinct values within a pool and calendar dates. They cannot prove that a draw happened or that an operator published the record. We do not inject sample results into the analysis or claim an automatic live-results feed.
Compare entered results
Checkers compare your generated line with the official numbers you enter. Where several rounds or add-ons are supported, each result is scored independently. A union of matching appearances is labelled separately. A complete numerical match does not prove ticket ownership, eligibility, purchase time or entitlement to a prize.
Calculate a stated mathematical event
The probability explorer counts unordered combinations using exact integer arithmetic, combines separately selected pools and shows its assumptions. Its percentages are rounded. Assigned digits are included only when selected. It does not substitute an approximate number-space count for a verified all-prize probability or a monetary-return forecast.

How this content was prepared.
The explanations and implementation in this update were prepared with AI assistance, using the linked operator materials for game-format checks and mathematical derivations for the worked examples. We do not attach invented author biographies, professional qualifications or personal playing experience to that work. Automated tests check specified calculations and input cases; they cannot replace the operator’s rules or every real-world use case.
The source dates below describe the review performed for this release. They are not evidence of a live feed, a daily editorial team or a promise that an external rule has remained unchanged. A reference marked reviewed means the linked primary material was consulted for the stated format or distinction. It does not mean every price, prize, entry restriction and publication time on that external site was audited.
When a rules change is identified, the affected format, checker, explanations and source note need updating together. If two sources disagree, the game’s current operator rules take priority over a promotional summary. Report a conflict so that it can be investigated; do not assume a familiar game name implies an unchanged number pool.
SOURCE REGISTER
Rule-reference register.
The register identifies the numerical format and the boundary of each studio. Schedules are planning estimates and are not covered by a numerical-format check alone. The full operator terms govern actual participation.
Primary format references · review date 31 October 2026
6 from 49 All selected reference numbers appearing in one six-main result, or in seven balls when the Booster option is explicitly enabled. No betting return is modelled.
7 from 35; 1 separate from 1–20 One standard Australian seven-main-plus-Powerball selection. System entries, PowerHit coverage and paid-ticket conditions are excluded.
6 from 40; 1 separate from 1–5 Six main matches from 1–40 and one Dream Number from 1–5 in a single result. Payment terms and ticket eligibility are excluded.
5 from 50 All selected HotPicks numbers appearing among five underlying EuroMillions main numbers. Lucky Stars, raffle codes and prize settlement are excluded.
5 from 49; 1 separate from 1–10 One standard five-from-49 selection with one Numéro Chance from 1–10. Additional codes and optional draw products are not modelled.
Three-result union; no single-draw odds An unofficial union-of-results comparison across three underlying draws. No single-draw odds or bookmaker payout is asserted.
5 from 55 One fixed five-number selection against one result before the session is drawn. Main and linked EXTRA must not be treated as independent repetitions.
5 from 59 All selected HotPicks numbers appearing among six underlying Lotto main numbers in one round. Prize eligibility and ticket coverage are not modelled.
5 from 70; 1 separate from 1–24 Five main matches and the current 1–24 Mega Ball in one draw. Multiplier amounts and ticket entitlements are not modelled.
6 from 40; 1 separate from 1–10 One six-main-plus-Powerball line in New Zealand. Bonus-ball prize tiers, Strike and actual ticket eligibility are excluded.
5 from 69; 1 separate from 1–26 The US five-white-plus-red-Powerball format in one main draw. Multipliers, add-on draws and jurisdiction-specific products are excluded.
6 from 59 One six-number selection in one UK Lotto round. The current game has two rounds per draw night; this is not the overall ticket or any-prize probability.
5 from 58; 1 separate from 1–5 Five main numbers from 1–58 plus one Millionaire Ball from 1–5 in a single result. Annuity and cash-payment terms are excluded.
A helpful correction identifies the page, the disputed statement, an official source and the relevant rules period. We can then distinguish a changed game rule from an incorrect input or a display problem. Until a conflict is resolved, check the official operator directly before using a result for any ticket decision.
Understand what is saved
Generated lottery lines and imported studio history are temporary page-session data. Other tools may offer explicit local saving, and calendar reminders can be saved to your own device or calendar app. Contact enquiries are sent through the website’s support-mail process. Optional visitor statistics and advertising consent are separate; the privacy information describes those choices.
Advertising does not validate a selection
Any advertising placement is separate from an operator rule, an editorial explanation or a generated number line. A placement must not imply that an advertiser can predict a fair draw. LottoLuma’s information remains subject to the same stated limitations regardless of whether an advert appears on a page.
