LOTTOLUMA · DRAW HISTORY GUIDE

Make a history chart you can actually interpret.

A frequency chart is only as clear as the records behind it. LottoLuma accepts your own genuine results and analyses them locally. The importer can reject an impossible number or a malformed row, but it cannot certify that a source is official or that a result belongs to the game you intended.

The optional local checker needs JavaScript. The import instructions remain available below.

No draw data is supplied or invented by this page. Start with the operator’s genuine result records.

Define the sample before copying numbers.

  1. Identify the exact game. US and Australian Powerball share a name but use different pools. A similar-looking row from another lottery is not an acceptable substitute.
  2. Choose one rules period. A pool-size change alters how often a number had the opportunity to appear. Irish Lotto’s current 45-ball period began on 5 September 2026; current LOTTO MAX uses 52 balls. Separate older records instead of treating absent values as cold numbers.
  3. Choose one result stream. Keep UK Lotto rounds separate, Irish Main and Plus results separate, and MillionDAY main and EXTRA separate. Multiple sessions on the same date are not interchangeable records.
  4. Record the source outside the numeric file. Keep the official URL, date range and session definition with your own notes. The simple CSV does not authenticate provenance or store a draw/session identifier.

Importing more rows is not automatically better. A smaller, consistently defined sample is easier to explain than a larger file mixing several formats or incomplete sessions.

The accepted row format.

Main pool first, chosen special pool second

An optional date is the first column. After it, supply every main result required by that game, followed by player-chosen special balls such as Lucky Stars or a Powerball. For a HotPicks studio, import the complete underlying main draw rather than only the numbers on your selection. The empty template shows the required column count.

Supplementary and assigned values differ

Where a game has drawn supplementary balls, the complete optional supplementary group can follow the required columns. It is validated but excluded from the main-frequency counts. Assigned ticket digits, raffle codes, prize amounts and serial numbers are not accepted history columns. Use the relevant checker for assigned digits.

Dates and headers are checked

Accepted date shapes are YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY/MM/DD, DD/MM/YYYY and DD-MM-YYYY. Ambiguous short dates, spreadsheet date serials and impossible dates are rejected. One recognised header row can be skipped. Simple quoted CSV cells, comma-separated, semicolon-separated, tab-separated and plain space-separated numeric rows are supported. Multiline quoted cells are not.

Limits are visible

Each import supports at most 200,000 characters and 5,000 non-empty rows. File opening is limited to 200 KB. A larger input needs splitting; rows beyond the limit are reported rather than silently treated as a complete dataset. Invalid rows do not enter frequency counts, and the validator shows examples of the reasons.

What “latest” and “repeated” mean.

Ordering

If every accepted row has a valid date, LottoLuma sorts those rows oldest to newest before applying a latest-20, latest-50 or similar filter. Rows with the same date retain their supplied order. A single date does not identify which of several daily sessions came first, so keep one stream per file. If any dates are missing, the importer keeps the supplied order and warns when dated and undated rows are mixed.

Repeated records

An identical dated result may be an accidental second paste, or it may represent two genuine sessions whose numbers happened to coincide. Without a session identifier, the tool cannot safely decide. It therefore includes the row and flags repeated dated records. Inspect the source and remove accidental duplicates before relying on the chart. Repeated combinations on different dates are not automatically invalid.

Number order inside a row

Within an unordered lottery result, rearranging the same main numbers does not create a new combination. The duplicate check compares each pool as a set. It still keeps main and special pools separate: swapping a main value into a Powerball column can change or invalidate the record.

Read descriptive statistics without turning them into a forecast.

A frequency of 12 appearances in 100 draws is an observation about that chosen dataset. It is not a 12% estimate for the next draw. Under the simple fair model, a particular main number’s inclusion chance is the draw size divided by the pool size, regardless of a recent run of absences.

Small samples naturally show uneven frequencies. Sorting a list into “hot” and “cold” creates labels even when every underlying outcome is equally likely. A useful chart tells you which records were counted, their date range, which pool was analysed and which rows were rejected. It should not promise that the lowest-frequency number is due.

Use the heatmap, sums and pair counts to describe a defined historical sample, test your understanding and spot transcription problems. If a chart’s conclusion depends on mixing result streams or dropping inconvenient dates, revise the dataset rather than presenting the pattern as a prediction.
